I want to personally welcome you to our redesigned website! We have made an attempt to put information on this site that will help you with your common financial questions. There is information here to help you track your federal and state refund status once we have completed your tax return. I started Barrett, Herman, Ragland, & Schartz (formerly Barrett & Associates) in 1982, with a total of 3 employees including myself. We are now a company of 22 and have been centrally located at 110th and Quivira for the past 17 years. Our staff is comprised of the top tax, accounting, and payroll personnel in the Kansas City area. I feel that we have the best team around to assist you as a small, growing or mature business. We have experienced the growth pains that you will encounter as you grow your business and would love the opportunity to share our experiences with you. Our goal is to be a business partner with our clients and provide assistance in any area they might need.
